We had intended including a webpage in the private
secure section of this website for our family to
view photographs of our Granddaughter due to be
born in March 2007.
Unfortunately we lost Amy when
she was born 15 weeks premature on 28 January 2007
weighing only 2lbs. Amy lived for only 12 hours
until her lungs and heart eventually gave up and
were unable to sustain her precious life. Although
she was only with us for the briefest of moments,
we miss her very much and wish to remember her
in a special way.
During those brief 12 hours, she was cared for by the Staff and Consultants
in the Special Care Baby Unit at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle
upon Tyne, England.
